The Eqos Management Team is comprised of senior executives with proven success in the areas of information technology, electronic commerce, and the retail supply chain.
On behalf of its customers and stakeholders, Eqos continues to develop and enhance its sourcing and supplier solution.
Mike Quinn
Managing Director & Founder
Since co-founding the company in 1997, Mike has led Eqos from its formation to a highly recognized, award winning software company, meeting the needs of key retailers and financial institutions in the Supplier Management arena. It is Mike's vision, enthusiasm and supplier management expertise that has led him to the forefront in applying Web based solutions and business models to enable companies to achieve operational efficiency, agility and competitive advantage. Management Today magazine voted Mike in the "Top 40 Web Entrepreneurs in the UK" and Mike was a finalist at the "UK Entrepreneur of the Year Award" in the Emerging Technologies category. Prior to forming Eqos, Mike was involved in electronic commerce, sales and marketing with the UK and global market leader, GE Information Services. Mike holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Manchester and has been involved in the IT industry for over 23 years.
Paul Allman
Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer
Paul joined Eqos in 2002, having previously spent 5 years working in Silicon Valley, USA, with both public and venture backed start-up organizations, including Constellar Corporation where he held the position of CFO. Paul's experience spans the enterprise software, bio-informatics and pharmaceutical sectors. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and graduated with honours from John Moores University.
Jane Biddle
Chief Marketing Officer
A key member of the Eqos Management Team, Jane is instrumental in helping to shape the strategic direction of the company. Jane brings key expertise to the executive team in areas such as strategic planning, market positioning, and establishing brand recognition for Eqos on an international basis. As Chief Marketing Officer, Jane works collaboratively with global customers and strategic partners; she is also dedicated to ensuring the success of U.S. customers and that Eqos continues to build a presence in this important market. Prior to joining Eqos, Jane held executive positions with companies such as SAP, G-Log, Rockport Trade Systems and Hewlett Packard. Jane has authored numerous research reports and articles and is frequently quoted in the media. Jane holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from Rivier College in New Hampshire, USA.
Mark McDonnell
Vice President, Business Development
Since 1999, Mark has held a number of key executive roles in marketing, sales and now business development within Eqos. It is Mark who is responsible for long-term business and strategy development which encompasses strategic partnerships and the partner programme to help develop the Eqos community, currently standing at over 5,000 companies. Mark has managed our relationships with key retailers such as Tesco, Best Buy, Sainsbury's and Wickes (to name but a few.) Prior to Eqos, Mark held various executive positions for a division of General Electric - GE, including European Retail Marketing Director where he helped develop "Tradanet" into Europe's market leading EDI Service. Mark has an MBA in Marketing from the City University of London.
Paul Sansom
Head of Development
Paul joined Eqos in 2004 as Lead Technical Consultant in Professional Services having previously spent 6 years in the Finance industry carrying out Senior Consultant roles, moving into Software Development and finally Development management. Having spent 3 years in Professional Services working on the Tesco and Royal and Sun Alliance projects, Paul has taken up the position of Head of Development to become the newest member of the Management team. Reporting to the CEO, Mike Quinn and based in the UK, Paul manages the Development team to drive the quality, innovation and delivery of Eqos products, focusing both on the technical platform of delivery and the business solutions that fulfill the demands of the modern Sourcing process. Paul has an Honours Degree in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey.
Greg Vaughn
Global Vice President of Professional Services
Greg brings more than 30 years experience in professional services management, consulting, and the implementation of complex retail enterprise solutions to Eqos. He is responsible for providing our clients with world class deployment teams and a comprehensive set of implementation services. Greg most recently served as Managing Partner of Retail Solutions for a boutique consulting firm focused on Business Process Management and Product Lifecycle Management for retail private label initiatives. Prior to that Greg held CEO, CIO, VP and Director positions for companies such as JDA Software Group, KhiMetrics, Price Waterhouse LLP, Pricer Inc., Brookshire Brothers. He has a business degree from Lamur University and completed the Graduate School of Executive Development from the University of Georgia.
Chris Barrow
Head of Customer Services
With 18 years experience in the food retail industry, Chris joined Eqos in 2003 having spent the previous 3 years in software support for the psychometric testing company SHL. As the most prominent customer-facing team in Eqos, Customer Services and the hosting support team deliver around-the-clock, global services and support for standard and customized solutions. Through a combination of Customer services resources in the UK, Hong Kong and the US, Eqos seizes every customer interaction as an opportunity to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Chris is responsible for providing "Outstanding Customer Experience" by delivering best-in-class, end-to-end quality of service to Eqos customers.
