Eqos Receives Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 Award

BURLINGTON, Mass. (July 18, 2006) - Eqos Ltd., experts in sourcing and supplier management solutions for worldwide retail supply chains, today announced it has been selected as a Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100. The award was presented by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine, the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, and will be prominently featured in its June/July 2006 editorial.
The judging committee identified the "leading providers of supply chain services and technologies who are at the forefront of innovation" and highlighted Eqos' global sourcing solution installed at its long-standing customer Best Buy Co., Inc,. the consumer electronics giant with more than 930 stores in North America.
Eqos' global sourcing solution is a web-based application developed by Eqos and designed to help retailers' global sourcing operations to collaborate on the sourcing process of all goods from initial concept and design through to product specification, bid management and assessment, estimation of landed costs, packaging, sampling, testing and final order confirmation.
