Eqos short-listed for Computing 'Ebusiness Project of the Year' award for work with Debenhams

Eqos has been short-listed for a Computing Award for Excellence 2003. The company is nominated in the 'Ebusiness Project of the Year' category for its work with Debenhams installing a collaborative portal to improve communication and processes with suppliers and increase profitability.
The awards, considered to be the 'Oscars' of the UK IT sector, recognize excellence in the implementation of IT in industry. The judging panel, which includes Jonathan Cummings, Director of Ebusiness at the Institute of Directors, Neil Ellul, Managing Director of the European Ecommerce Association, Bruce Petter, Executive Director of the Management Consultancies Association and Colin Barker the Editor of Computing, looked for projects that have had a significant impact on an organization's performance and profitability.
Mike Quinn, CEO, commented, "It is always rewarding to see the benefits and mind-shift that we can produce within a client's business, and being a finalist for this Award is an added bonus."
The awards will be a highlight of Computing's 30th anniversary celebrations and will be presented at a gala dinner hosted by Rory Bremner on Wednesday 15th October at Battersea Park Arena, London.
