Eqos Opens New Boston Headquarters, Appoints VP of Sales to Executive Team

Eqos Ltd., (wwww.eqos.com), experts in sourcing and supplier management solutions for worldwide retail supply chains, today announced it has expanded its operations by establishing U.S. headquarters in the Boston, Massachusetts area.   The Company also announced the appointment of Nancy Karlson to vice president of U.S. sales.

An independent software company founded in 1997 with dual headquarters in the UK and Boston, Eqos' supply chain solutions allow retailers to manage their global sourcing and supplier management processes proactively through the use of a collaborative platform shared among all trading partners along the supply chain.

Eqos solutions are currently being used extensively by retailers such as Best Buy, Tesco and Sainsbury's and their respective trading partners to rapidly address the areas of global sourcing, product management and supplier performance over the Internet.

Nancy Karlson brings 15 years of sales and account management experience to Eqos.  Prior to joining Eqos, she was VP of Sales for Tradestone Software of Gloucester, Mass., exceeding her sales quota by 131 percent in the first year of product availability.  She was previously a senior sales executive for QRS of Richmond, Calif., and a sales manager for Manhattan Associates of Atlanta.  Before that she was regional sales manager for RockPort Trade Systems, and a senior account executive for Internet Securities, Inc.  She began her career in 1990 at Kidder Peabody & Co. and Thompson Financial Services.
